The Conclusion

Jurassic Park made me lost my life based on the book when I was trapped by the veloricaptors while in the movie I was alive. If I was as smart as Nedry in the computer, maybe I would have made the computer system goodly not like Nedry who was trying to do a negative thing for Hammond's business. I think Alan Grant is an intelligent guy, he knew so much about dinosaurs and knew how to avoid them. He could handle everything I think. Like when Nedry turned off everything he was the only adult not injured. Ed Regis was killed while Malcolm is badly injured. I admit that I'm not so good in computers as when I thought I turned everything on, I was wrong because the fences are not working because I was using the emergency power and I thought that the main power is on.

Restarting the system

The power in the park failed. Muldoon, Wu, Hammond and I saw the screens go dark. The computers are working but the park has failed. All the light, electric fences, sensors and cameras are off and nothing's working. The animal could escape with the fences not working and I have to figure out something fast before it’s too late. Well, I hope that everything is going to be alright or maybe this island must be destroyed because the dinosaurs are not safe enough for humans. We live in the modern time while dinosaurs live million years ago which is a very long time. Hammond was very worried about his grandchildren and I think he is too old for him to go here as this place is not safe enough for an old man like him. I spoke to Harding using a walkie-talkie. All the computer failure is not because of an accident but its Nedry who turned the power off. I didn’t know why Hammond is worried with his dinosaurs more than his grandchildren. I had to go to the generator building but I’m trapped with the raptors near me and I cannot escape. I was in trouble. I think if Hammond wanted to make money he should not have used something dangerous like dinosaurs or maybe just use ordinary animals but using a big island like Isla Nublar. I think that Nedry is such a jerk. He has caused all the trouble to Hammond's business.

Power Shut Down & Death of Nedry

When Nedry turned off everything in the park using the computer to steal the embryos, he took a jeep and steal the embryos without anyone knowing about it with the sensors and cameras not working. It was a clever plan in my opinion because no one would know it. I then found out that Nedry was eaten by a dilophosaur and other dinosaurs on the way back to the control room. All the power is off so it means the electric fences are not working. It includes the sensors and cameras. The reason behind everything is Nedry because he made the bad computer system and he is also the one who shut down the system. Nedry also hated Hammond very much. I have to do a lot of dangerous work here. I think that if we used a computer system from another company which is better these things would have never happen.

The Job In The Control Room

Here in Jurassic Park, we control everything in the Control Room. What the cameras caught could all be seen in the Control Room and there are sensors and cameras in 92% of the park. The example of places with no sensors and cameras are the river because it’s impossible to put them there. There are a total of 238 animals at first in this park and the computers can show where the animals are. Sometimes I feel scared of dying because I got a feeling that if the dinosaurs could escape the electric fences, I could be killed. There are a total of 15 species of dinosaurs in this park. If an animal dies, the computer could tell me in a few minutes. Muldoon and the others are worried about the dinosaurs as they thought they are too dangerous for people to go near them and Malcolm predicts a lot of negative things that is going to happen where I think it’s going to be okay. I’m really concerned about the computers because even though Nedry had been paid a lot of money there are a lot of problems with the computer and Nedry refuses to fix it as Hammond doesn’t want to pay more.

Hi! My name is John Arnold and I am a chief engineer working at Hammond's island in Isla Nubar. I have to look after all the machinery and technical equipment here, in Isla Nubar. I had a lot of problems and worries working here but I'm paid a lot of money so actually I don’t really care. The dinosaurs have had 3 workmen killed and the computer system is not working well. Nedry's computer system wasn't good enough and that gives a problem to me in controlling the park. I have very big task and small mistakes done here could result to a huge problem. I just hope that this park would be successful and safe for people to visit. Hammond would lost a lot of money if the park is not safe enough for people to visit as making the dinosaurs could cost a lot of money and used a lot of time. The Cray XMP supercomputer is one of the most expensive computers in the world and we have them here in Isla Nubar. We have a lot of sensors and cameras in the park to know the movement of the dinosaurs. My goal is to work well here and get a raise in my salary. I haven't met my family since I work here because I am very busy these days.
